Kids with Cancer

Matt’s number one passion is to serve and minister to children battling with cancer. He recently has become a sponsor and volunteer with the Children’s Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.  Matt desires to bless, encourage, and serve families that have kids with cancer.  They need friendship, encouragement, groceries, and humanitarian assistance.  Matt’s personal mission is to put a smile on the face of every single child battling with cancer by giving toys, bikes, tickets to ball games and Disney World, and many other things that may be a blessing to kids and families with cancer.

Hungry & Fatherless Kids

Matt’s personal ministry, as well as Boot Camp America, has a passion for feeding children that are hungry, and helping kids that are fatherless.  There are an estimated 12 million children in America that go to bed hungry nearly every night. We are very blessed, and while we may not be able to get to every single child, we’ll surely do our best to make a difference in one child at a time.  Matt also donates a lot of his time, money, and energy towards helping kids without dads by taking them on outings and helping them with school clothes, bikes, and other things that affect kids with absent fathers.

The Homeless

When Matt was the Pastor of the Life Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, he and his local church bused in the homeless each week and fed them meals, gave away clothes, bags of groceries, and sleeping bags.  Each year, Matt’s ministry gives away over 1,000 sleeping bags to the homeless, as well as helps feed, clothe, and serve the homeless across America.  Matt also empowers churches across America to be considerate, kind, and giving towards homeless people by setting up food banks, clothing closets, shelters, and recovery programs.

Single Mothers

There are an estimated 10.4 million single mothers living in America.  Often, these sweet angels work full time jobs and manage keeping up with the house, kid’s homework, and other responsibilities that come with parenting, such as soccer practice, band practice, piano lessons, and trying to balance their finances in a really tight economy.  Matt’s ministry personally gives a car to a single mother each year, as well as gas cards, gift cards, providing free babysitting, and other needs that single mothers have.

Home Missions

The fifth reason that you should partner with Matt Maddix Ministries is because Matt gives a full weekend each month to helping Home Missions Churches.   Matt comes in on a Friday and works the entire weekend for the home missionary, training, organizing, encouraging, and speaking on Sundays for free.  It’s always exciting to watch home missionaries be encouraged and strengthened when Matt comes to their church and does not accept any money.

He also gives them free resources, such as his personal Home Bible Study, free Boot Camp DVD’s, and other Soul Winning Resources.  Matt personally impacts and blesses 10 Home Missions Churches each year, free of charge.  Matt also allows all home missionaries to attend Soul Winners Boot Camp free.

Soul Winners Boot Camp America

Matt started Boot Camp America in March of 2008 and has already completed 29 Soul Winners Boot Camps across America.  Soul Winners Boot Camp has trained 7,104 people, baptized 2,836 in Jesus name, and God has filled 3,416 with the Holy Ghost.  Boot Camp America is fully supported by sponsors, partners, registration, and free will offerings taken at each Boot Camp and at our Soul Winning Rallies across America.  By you sowing into Boot Camp America, you have been responsible for block parties, feeding the homeless, helping single mothers, giving to the poor, ministering to troubled teenagers, and empowering over 7,104 people to go back home and serve their communities.  Boot Camp America has a mission and vision to serve America by showing compassion to single mothers, the homeless, troubled teenagers, hungry children, kids with cancer, and people that need Jesus and love. Practices Excellent Stewardship & Accountability

Matt personally has hired an outside accounting firm (Hamilton and Phillips in Brandon, Florida) to manage the books.  They provide accountability and stability to all the finances that come into the ministry.  Matt also gives a full financial report to District Superintendent and Pastor, Jack Cunningham, and International Evangelist, David Smith, each month.  God requires excellent stewardship, and Matt uses donations and contributions to advance the gospel, serve people, and take care of all the needs of the ministry.  Soul Winners University is a 501-C3, and all that donate into the ministry can receive a tax deduction.  We always have two people count each offering, and two people make the deposit.  We are in accordance with the IRS and the word of God in our financial dealings.
